Architecture is a broad subject-matter, encompassing everything from megatall skyscrapers to decaying shacks. Almost everywhere we go, architecture is embedded in our everyday living environments. Even structures such as bridges, towers, windmills, monuments and lamp posts come under the architecture umbrella. And let’s not forget to include the architecture and interior design of grand hallways and staircases to modern office and residential living spaces.
Architecture exist where civilization exist.
Architectural photography is a comparatively new phenomenon that has rapidly evolved from using buildings and interior spaces as backdrops to creating them into focal points of striking imagery. By contributing to a nurturing sense of globalization in our metropolitan environments to simply celebrating a captivating structure, photography has transformed our perception of urban life and given it new meaning.
